At the riding stable “pur isi” in Bucheben, adventure and relaxation meet in a family-like atmosphere, combined with wonderful mountain scenery that breathes something unique into your riding experience. During the riding lessons with the stable’s own Icelandic horses, “Kathrin’s Laden” right next door offers a small break with coffee and cake for other accompanying family members who prefer to take it easy.

With typical local delicacies from the region, coffee, and homemade cakes, “Kathrin’s Laden” is an excellent alternative to comfortably end the afternoon amidst breathtaking mountain scenery on the terrace or with a short walk to the picturesque Bucheben church.

In Embach, a special riding experience awaits you amidst an idyllic mountain landscape. The local riding stable offers a versatile program for riding enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels. Beginners and advanced riders can be individually coached here by the experienced Alexandra, a state-certified dressage trainer, and deepen their riding skills in tailor-made riding lessons. Particularly attractive is the covered riding arena, which allows riding without restrictions even in bad weather.

For nature lovers and adventurers, there are guided rides where you can explore the picturesque surroundings of Embach on horseback. These tours lead through green meadows, forests, and offer impressive views of the mountain landscape. A riding lesson is required so that the skill level can be assessed beforehand.

Children are also well catered for: The riding stable offers special children’s riding lessons, where the little ones playfully learn how to handle horses and gain their first riding experiences. The species-appropriate care of the school horses is a top priority. The horses have plenty of space on generous paddocks and regular exercise, which helps them maintain a balanced and friendly nature.

Important Information for Beginners

Equipment:

• min. ankle-high good footwear (hiking boots, ankle boots, etc.)
• Riding helmet (rental available on site)
• comfortable clothing
• If additional equipment is needed individually, the riding stable “pur isi” has its own on-site shop
• It is not permitted at either facility to rent horses and ride on your own.

At both riding stables, before rides
a riding lesson is required to assess riding skills.
