Enjoy cross-country skiing in nature
Cross-country skiing in the Rauris Valley is a real pleasure.
The long valley in the Austrian Hohe Tauern National Park
offers 30 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails.
They generally run at altitudes between 950 and 1,200 meters
and touch many scenic highlights of the romantic Rauris Valley
The detour into the rear Hüttwinkltal valley is particularly popular. Here you can find the
Sonnenloipe, in the most beautiful alpine pasture area.
All routes are largely free of fog.
Cross-country skiing equipment can be obtained from local sports shops
and ski schools can be rented.
In winter, the free valley bus takes cross-country skiers as well as snowshoe and
Winter hikers or tobogganers to the various starting points.
