Free cancellation guarantee up to 2 days before arrival due to Covid19 for summer 2021

(valid for stays until October 17th, 2021 and for stays from December 9th, 2021 to April 18th, 2022)

So that you can plan your vacation carefree,
we guarantee you a free cancellation option should one of these reasons exist:

  • Travel warning of the highest level for the Salzburger Land
  • In the event of a new lockdown
  • In the event of a border closure
  • If you get COVID 19 (presentation of the positive test result)
  • Should you have to be in quarantine (confirmation from a doctor)

Should one of these cases occur, we will of course cancel your booking free of charge.
For the down payment you will receive a voucher, which you can redeem at any other desired date.

Our Covid19 guidelines:

For all our dear guests, children from 12 years, proof of the 3-G rules still applies,

tested, recovered or vaccinated on arrival.



Which test certificate is valid as an access test:

Self-test with digital solution: 24h

Antigen test: 48h

PCR test: 72h


What applies to people who have recovered:

People who were infected with Sars-Cov-2 are exempt from the obligation to test six months after recovery.


What applies to vaccinated people:

You don’t have to prove a test:

from the day of the 2nd vaccination.

(except for Johnson & Johnson, as well as for recovered ones, valid from day 22 after the 1st stitch)


To enter Austria you need valid proof at the border,

according to the 3-G regulation (vaccinated, recovered, tested). This means that registration is no longer necessary when entering the country.



You are welcome to test it on site at the hotel free of charge,

if your test certificate (which you have to show on arrival) expires !

You will receive more detailed information on arrival!


No mask requirement in gastronomy, tourism or leisure industry (except for supermarkets, public transport,

Doctor, pharmacy etc.)

as well as no more minimum distance between guests and visitors.



The sauna area, outdoor pool and indoor pool can be used with the usual hygiene measures (hand washing, disinfecting).

How can I book at the Hotel Alpina?

You are welcome to visit the Hotel Alpina online via our Homepage , but also book by email or phone.



Can you book bed and breakfast at the Hotel Alpina?

Yes, we will then deduct EUR 10 per person per night from the half-board price.



Is your online booking safe?

The data entered in our online booking form is SSL secured and therefore very well protected.

If you still do not want to send us your credit card details using our form, we ask you to

to inform us of this data by email, telephone or fax.



Do I need a credit card to complete the booking?

You can pay the deposit as you wish by credit card or bank transfer.



Will my credit card be charged at the time of booking?

You are also welcome to use your credit card to make the amount of the deposit requested by us.

Many guests have travel cancellation insurance, which is activated as a result.

Of course, you will receive a booking confirmation for every booking.

Current reception opening times:

We are currently in our reception, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., available for you by phone or email.
We reserve the right to adapt our reception to requirements, especially in the off-season.



Check-in / check-out times

You can move into your room on the day of arrival from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If your arrival is outside of this time, please let us know early enough. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your hotel room for cleaning by 10:00 a.m.



Is it allowed to smoke in the Hotel Alpina?

We keep our rooms and all public areas smoke-free.

You are welcome to smoke on the balconies and terraces.



Can I take my dog with me?

Your dog is very welcome in our Hotel Alpina.

For dogs we charge € 15 per day without food.

So that your dog feels at home, we ask you to have a basket

or bring a blanket for your favorite four-legged friend!

We ask for your understanding that the dog is not in the dining room

and can be taken on the lawn.



Parking facilities

The Hotel Alpina has large parking spaces in front of the hotel,

our guests can park here for free.



Is there a garage for my car or motorcycle?

The Hotel Alpina has no garage space.



Is there a way to charge my electric car?

Our house guests are welcome to charge their car for free using our new e-charging station.



Is there a supermarket nearby?

The Spar supermarket can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.

The Billa supermarket can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.



Are the rooms cleaned?

Our hotel rooms are cleaned daily.



How far is the nearest ski lift away?

the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen have 2 valley stations.

The valley station of the gondola lifts is approx. 900 meters from the hotel.

The valley station at the Kreuzboden chairlift can be reached on foot in 3 minutes!



Is there a shuttle to the ski lift?

In winter, the free ski bus stops in front of the hotel every half hour from 9 a.m. and takes you to the lift stations in just a few minutes.



Do you have a wellness area in the house?

The Hotel Alpina has a small wellness area with a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin, which are available to our guests free of charge. Our sauna is open daily from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you wish, the sauna can of course be switched on earlier and runs longer.

Do you have bathrobes and bath towels?

Yes, we provide bathrobes and bath towels in the hotel free of charge.



Do you have an indoor or outdoor pool?

The Hotel Alpina has its own indoor pool which is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

An outdoor pool is also available to our guests in summer (depending on the weather).



Opening times of the restaurant

Our restaurant is open daily at the following times:


Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Afternoon snack in winter: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Do you have a bar in the house?

We have a bar right next to the in-house restaurant, which is currently not allowed due to the current Covid19 guidelines.
We are happy to take orders for mixed bar drinks or anything else and prepare them for you.
Consumption must currently take place at a seat and we ask you to take this into account.



Is there a lift in the hotel?

We have an elevator in the Hotel Alpina.

Not all rooms can be reached by elevator.



Can you do laundry?

We offer a laundry service for a surcharge of EUR 20 per laundry bag.

Please hand your laundry in at reception by 8 a.m.

You will receive your washed and ironed laundry back by 4:30 p.m.



Can I buy ski passes in the hotel?

When booking a ski package, you will receive the vouchers for the ski passes directly at the reception upon arrival.

Otherwise you can buy them from the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen.



Do you have a children’s playroom?

We have a lot of space in the basement of the Hotel Alpina for young and old.

For the larger guests we offer a table tennis table and a billiard table. This is open 24 hours.



Where is the nearest ski rental and the nearest ski school?

In Rauris there are 2 sports shops and 2 ski schools that offer ski rental:

Intersport Pirchner and Sport Egger

Adventure ski school and Maier ski school


When booking at the Hotel Alpina, you will receive from our partner Adventure ski school (with the guest card to be presented) 10% discount.



Is there an iron / ironing board?

Please contact the front desk if you require an iron / ironing board.

Is there WiFi in the Hotel Alpina?

The entire Hotel Alpina is equipped with WLAN and can be received in every room.



Interior of the rooms

All hotel rooms are equipped with a balcony, bathroom with shower & toilet, room safe, free WiFi, radio reception, telephone & cable TV with a high-quality flat screen.



Is there a hair dryer?

Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer.



Can I have my towels changed?

The hand and bath towels are changed every day of the holiday.

If you would like an additional change, please let us know.

What are the cancellation conditions at the Hotel Alpina?

We adhere to the cancellation conditions of the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry in the 2006 version.

  • up to 3 months before the day of arrival – no cancellation fees
  • 3 months to 1 month before the day of arrival – 40% cancellation fee
  • 1 month to 1 week before the day of arrival – 70% cancellation fee
  • In the last week and no show – 90% cancellation fee

Stays from May 20th, 2021 – October 17th, 2021

– For cancellations up to 2 days before arrival, we do not charge a cancellation fee due to Covid19

– For cancellations from 2 days to 1 day before arrival, we charge 90% of the total price.

– If the cancellation is only made on the day of arrival, we must invoice the entire amount.

Is it possible to borrow toboggans / bicycles?

In summer, bicycles are available free of charge for young and old.

You are welcome to borrow toboggans from the hotel free of charge in winter.


Do we need snow chains for the trip to Rauris?

We can never predict it exactly, so we ask you to bring snow chains with you to be on the safe side.


Is there a cancellation insurance?

We recommend taking out cancellation insurance with our partner der European insurance .
