How can I book at Hotel Alpina?

You are welcome to contact the Hotel Alpina online via our homepage, but also by email

or book by telephone. We look forward to hearing from you.



Is it possible to book bed and breakfast at the Hotel Alpina?

We will then charge EUR 15.00 per adult,

for children from 4 to 9.99 years EUR 4.50

and for children from 10 to 14.99 EUR 7.50 from the half-board price.



Is your online booking secure?

Data entered in our online booking form is SSL secured and therefore very well protected.

If you still do not wish to send us your credit card details via our form, please send us these details by e-mail, telephone or fax.



Do I need a credit card to complete the booking?

You can pay the deposit as you wish by credit card or bank transfer.



Will my credit card be charged at the time of booking?

You are also welcome to pay the desired amount of the deposit by credit card.

Many guests have travel cancellation insurance, which is activated as a result.

How high is the overnight stay tax in the Rauris Valley?

The overnight stay tax in the Rauris Valley is currently 2.00 euros per person and night from the age of 15.

! From May 2025 it will be increased to 3,00 Euro !



Will I receive a confirmation of my online booking?

You will of course receive a booking confirmation for every booking.



Can I also book for a larger group?

For special requests or for larger groups, please contact us by e-mail

or by telephone.



Can I also book a double room for single use with you?

Of course this is possible.
Here we charge a single room supplement per night
from Euro 30,- in the low season and up to Euro 65,- in the high season.

Each room can also be booked for single occupancy.

Can I redeem my Hotel-Alpina voucher with you?

You are very welcome to redeem your Alpina vouchers.
Please let us know when you make your reservation and have your voucher number ready
so that you can inform us of them.



Is there a shuttle option?

We are happy to offer you a chargeable shuttle service via the cab company Plössnig Reisen.

Current opening hours of the reception:

We are there for you from 08:00 to 21:00!
We reserve the right to adapt our reception to requirements, especially in the low season.



Check-in / Check-out times

You can check into your room from 15:00 – 18:00 on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure we ask you to vacate your hotel room for cleaning by 10:00 am.

On the evening before departure, you can request a late check-out at reception if the room is no longer occupied on the same day,

this is possible. We charge Euro 40,- per room (without meals).

For an earlier check-in, a request is required at least one day before arrival.

If you move into your room before 15:00 we charge Euro 40,- per room.



Is smoking allowed in the Hotel Alpina?

We keep our rooms and all public areas smoke-free.

You are welcome to smoke on the balconies and terraces.



Can I take my dog with me?

Dogs are accepted at the Hotel Alpina,

for your pet we charge Euro 25,- per day without food.

To make your four-legged friend feel at home in the room, we ask you to bring a basket

or bring a blanket!

We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the dining room.

and can be taken to the sunbathing lawn.

Does your hotel offer dog care?

We do not offer dog care at the hotel.

Parking facilities

The Hotel Alpina has large parking lots directly in front of the hotel,

Our guests can park here free of charge.



Is there a garage for my car or motorcycle?

The Hotel Alpina has no garage spaces.



Is there a way to charge my electric car?

Our guests are welcome to charge their cars at our new e-charging station.

We charge Euro 20,- per top-up.



Is there a supermarket nearby?

The Spar supermarket can be reached on foot in 5 minutes.

The Billa supermarket can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.



Are the rooms cleaned?

Our hotel rooms are cleaned daily.



How far away is the nearest ski lift?

The Rauriser Hochalmbahnen have 2 valley stations.

In summer, only the valley station of the Hochalmbahnen gondola lift is open.

The valley station of the cable cars is approx. 900 meters from the hotel.

The valley station at the Kreuzboden chairlift is a 3-minute walk away (only open in winter)!



Is there a shuttle to the ski lift?

In winter, the free ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel every half hour from 09:00 and takes you to the lift stations in just a few minutes.



Do you have an in-house wellness area?

The Hotel Alpina has a wellness area with a Finnish sauna, a Swiss stone pine sauna and an infrared cabin, which are available to our guests free of charge. Our saunas are open daily from 15:00 to 19:00. We will be happy to activate these for you earlier or later on request.



Do you have bathrobes and bath towels?

Yes, bathrobes and bath towels are available free of charge at the hotel.

For the sake of the environment, bathrobes are available directly from reception.



Do you have an indoor or outdoor pool?

The Hotel Alpina has its own indoor swimming pool 11 x 6 meters, 1.45 meters deep,

which is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00.

An outdoor pool 10 x 5 meters, 1.45 meters deep, is also available to our dear guests in summer (weather permitting).



Opening hours of the restaurant:

Our restaurant is open daily at the following times:

Breakfast from 08:00 am to 10:00 am

Dinner from 18:00 to 19:30

Afternoon snack in winter from 15:00 to 17:00



Do you have an in-house bar?

We have a bar right next to the restaurant where you can enjoy delicious mixed drinks and bar drinks.

The closing time is at 24:00


Is there an elevator in the hotel?

We have an elevator in the Hotel Alpina.

Not all rooms are accessible by elevator.



Can I buy ski passes at the hotel?

If you book a ski package, you will receive the vouchers for the ski passes, which you can then redeem at the Hochalmbahn, directly at reception on arrival.

Otherwise you can purchase ski passes at the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen.



Do you have a children’s playroom?

We have a large playroom in the basement for young and old.

For the older guests we offer table tennis and a pool table.

This is open 24 hours a day.



Where is the nearest ski rental and ski school?

In Rauris there are 2 sports stores and 2 ski schools that offer ski rental:

Intersport Pirchnerand Sport Egger

Adventure Ski School and Maier Ski School


If you book at the Hotel Alpina, you will receive a 10% discount from our partner ski school Adventure (with guest card to be shown).



Is there an iron / ironing board?

Please contact the ladies at reception if you require an iron/ironing board.



Is there WLAN at the Hotel Alpina?

The entire Hotel Alpina is equipped with WLAN and can be received free of charge in every room.



Room facilities

All hotel rooms are equipped with balcony, bathroom with shower & WC, room safe, free WLAN, radio reception, telephone & cable TV

with a high-quality flat screen.



Is there a hair dryer?

Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer.



Can I have my towels changed?

Hand and bath towels are changed as required.

For the sake of the environment, these are replaced when they are placed on the floor.

Can I change/cancel my booking?

Of course you can change or cancel bookings.

What are the cancellation terms at Hotel Alpina?

We adhere to the cancellation conditions of the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry as amended in 2006.

  • up to 3 months before arrival – no cancellation fees
  • 3 months to 1 month before arrival – 40% cancellation fee
  • 1 month to 1 week before arrival – 70% cancellation fee
  • In the last week and no show – 90% cancellation fee

Is it possible to hire toboggans / bikes?

In summer, bicycles are available free of charge for young and old.

You are welcome to borrow toboggans from the hotel free of charge in winter.


Do we need snow chains for the trip to Rauris?

We can never predict it exactly, so we ask you to bring snow chains to be on the safe side.
