Hotel Alpina Rauris

So that you can start your vacation at the Hotel Alpina in Rauris as relaxed and stress-free as possible,

we have listed the travel options for you here.

By airplane:

Fly to Salzburg. Once you have landed at Salzburg Airport, you have the option of traveling by bus, train, rental car or cab. If you would like to arrive by plane, we will be happy to help you organize your transfer to the hotel. By train:

You can also travel by train for a relaxed journey without traffic jams. The nearest train station is Taxenbach (10 km away). From there, take the bus to the Hotel Alpina. If you are arriving by public transport, we will be happy to help you organize a transfer to the hotel.

By car:

Rauris is easy and stress-free to reach by car and the Hotel Alpina is easy to find.

  • Arrival from Munich and Vienna: Follow the highway to Salzburg, continue in the direction of Villach. Leave the A10 highway at the Bischofshofen exit and take the Pinzgauer Straße (B311) to St. Johann im Pongau. From there, continue in the direction of Taxenbach. After Taxenbach, turn off into the Rauris Valley. Take the Rauris Nord exit and stay on Rauriserstraße until you turn right into Marktstraße, where you will find Hotel Alpina.
  • Arrival from Italy: Drive towards Udine and continue on the A23 towards Villach. Take the A10 towards Salzburg until you reach the Bischofshofen exit. There you change to the B311 and follow the road to St. Johann im Pongau. From there, continue in the direction of Taxenbach. Take the Rauris Nord exit and stay on Rauriserstraße until you turn right into Marktstraße, where you will find Hotel Alpina.
  • Arrival from Switzerland: Take the Inntal highway towards Felbertauern as far as Kitzbühel and from there on to Mittersill. Follow the main road 168 towards Zell am See, then change to the main road 311 and follow it to Taxenbach. There, turn right towards Höf and follow the road until you come to Rauriser Straße until you turn left into Marktstraße, where your Hotel Alpina is located.

Please enter via Taxenbach, not via Embach. Especially in winter when it snows.

Attention, navigation devices always show the route via Embach.
