The Rauris Valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park offers 30 kilometers of cross-country ski trails. All routes are largely free of fog.

The 2 km long Kreuzboden toboggan run offers tobogganing fun during the day and in the evening. The Kreuzbodenhütte at the mountain station invites you to take a break.

The Kolm Saigurn valley head in Rauris is a tough challenge for ice climbers. Some of the most impressive and route-rich ice walls in the Eastern Alps are ready for vertical climbers. At the Barbara waterfall and other waterfalls, ice climbers from beginners to professionals will find what they are looking for. The 13m high ice climbing tower at the Naturfreundehaus is ideal for beginners.
