Nature’s Embrace in Raurisertal
Explore the primeval forest, pan for gold, observe birds of prey on their daily excursions – guests checking into the ****Hotel Alpina in Rauris for their summer holiday book spectacular nature experiences right along with it.
The family-run Hotel Alpina in Rauris, with its ideal location, charm, and comfort of a modern 4-star hotel, promises the best starting point for a holiday in the idyllic Raurisertal. With genuine alpine charm and a freshly renovated 6,000 m² green area, the hotel opened its summer season in May. The ****Hotel Alpina is located in the center of Rauris. In plain terms, this means the mountains are not far away. More precisely, the charming village is practically surrounded by imposing heights and untouched nature. Tranquility is the first step towards a relaxing summer holiday. As a couple, you can enjoy togetherness. For families with young guests, a bit more “action” is needed. And that’s also available in the beautiful Valley of Springs: “When panning for gold, it’s not just the pebbles that sparkle, but always the children’s eyes,” says the owner of the Alpina house, Thomas Prommegger. However, the Rauris nature experience doesn’t stop at the hotel after such a day in the fresh air. The owners put a lot of heart into their establishment, renovating, refining, and constantly surprising their long-standing guests with this incomparable attention to detail. With themed rooms like the Urquell, Gold, or Primeval Forest rooms, as well as the exclusive Wellness Suite with its own infrared cabin and a view of the breathtaking panorama, the Prommegger family brings the diversity of Raurisertal into their own four walls. But relaxation is not neglected either. The Prommegger family ensures this with a very personal touch. The young couple took over the hotel in 2010 and renovated it; large glass elements, light wood, and a new entrance area provide a fresh and modern touch. The cozy pine parlor, where dinner is served and the breakfast buffet with an unobstructed view of the mountains can be “experienced,” has remained. The excellent cuisine places particular emphasis on regional ingredients, especially concerning meat and game dishes.
Tip: The hotel is now also a partner of the National Park Summer Card. This allows guests of its partner establishments to visit more than 60 attractions for free and use leisure facilities, sports facilities, and numerous mountain lifts free of charge.
