Real happiness on Earth is to be found on the back of a horse. This is just how we see it, and is precisely the reason we offer our guests the following extra riding package in collaboration with our partner company, Icelandic horse stud farm 'Fencl von Feueregg':

• Rides on Icelandic horses in the picturesque nature of the national park

The riding centre is located just 3 km from the hotel in tranquil surroundings and comprises a 200-m oval track, a dressage area (20 x 40 m) and a longeing circle. The horses are kept (appropriate to the species) in an open stable with a paddock, which they have freedom to roam all year round. They are fed and trained based on the latest scientific knowledge.

Two grade C riding instructors with additional qualifications in centred riding and classical dressage teach riding at the centre. Lessons are taught according to modern, educational principles and an abundance of horse knowledge shared with no end of fun! The horses are well trained and completely reliable.
