By plane:

Fly to Salzburg. Once you have landed at Salzburg Airport, you have the option of arriving by bus, train, rental car or taxi. If you would like to arrive by plane, we will be happy to help organize your transfer to the hotel. By train:

You can also arrive relaxed and without traffic jams by train. The closest train station is Taxenbach (10 km away). From there you can take the bus to the Hotel Alpina. If you arrive by public transport, we will be happy to help you organize a transfer to the hotel.

By car:

Rauris can be reached easily and stress-free by car and the Hotel Alpina is easy to find.

• Arriving from Munich and Vienna: Follow the autobahn to Salzburg, continue in the direction of Villach. Leave the A10 motorway at the Bischofshofen exit and drive on Pinzgauer Straße (B311) to St. Johann im Pongau. From there it goes on towards Taxenbach. After Taxenbach, turn into the Rauris Valley. Take the Rauris Nord exit and stay on Rauriserstraße until you turn right into Marktstraße, where your Hotel Alpina is located.
• Arriving from Italy: Drive towards Udine and continue on the A23 towards Villach. Change to the A10 towards Salzburg until you reach the Bischofshofen exit. There you change to the B311 and follow the road to St. Johann im Pongau. From there it goes on towards Taxenbach. Take the Rauris Nord exit and stay on Rauriserstraße until you turn right into Marktstraße, where your Hotel Alpina is located.
• Arriving from Switzerland: On the Inntal autobahn it goes in the direction of Felbertauern to Kitzbühel and from there on to Mittersill. Follow the state road 168 in the direction of Zell am See, then change to the federal road 311 and follow it to Taxenbach. There you turn right in the direction of Höf and follow the street until you come to Rauriser Straße, until you turn left into Marktstraße, where your Hotel Alpina is located.

Please enter via Taxenbach, not Embach. Especially in winter when it is snowing.
