Cross-country Skiing in Rauris
Enjoy Cross-country Skiing in Nature
Cross-country skiing in Raurisertal is true enjoyment. The drawn-out valley in the Austrian Hohe Tauern National Park offers 30km of groomed and prepared cross-country ski trails. They generally run at altitudes between 950 and 1,200 m and intersect with many scenic highlights of the romantic Raurisertal.
A trip to the Hinteres Hüttwinkltal is particularly popular. Here you can go for rounds on the sun run in the most beautiful alp region. All routes impress by being largely fog-free. Cross-country equipment can be rented at local sport stores and ski schools.
In winter, the free valleys bus transports cross-country skiers, but also snowshoe and winter hikers or toboggan sledders, to various spots.
