Riding in the Rauris Valley

Experience unforgettable moments with the family amidst the untouched nature of the Rauris Valley in Bucheben, at the foot of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It doesn’t matter whether it’s pony riding for children from 2 years of age, a riding lesson directly at the riding stables, a short ride, a trail ride in the valley of the vultures or riding in the farm’s own riding hall in bad weather.

At the “pur isi” riding stable , adventure and relaxation meet in a family atmosphere, in combination with wonderful mountain scenery, which breathe something unique into your riding experience. During the riding lessons with the farm’s own Icelandic horses , the “Kathrin’s shop” right next door offers a very inviting and rustic atmosphere for other family companions who want to take it easy.

With typical local delicacies from the region , coffee and homemade cakes, it is an excellent alternative to comfortably end the afternoon with a breathtaking mountain backdrop on the terrace or with a short walk to the neighboring church.

Gear:

• at least ankle-high & good footwear (mountain boots, booties, etc.)
• Riding helmet (rental possible on site)
• comfortable clothing
