Exploring the jungle, panning for gold, watching the birds of prey on a daily excursion – if you check into the ****Hotel Alpina in Rauris for your summer vacation, you book spectacular nature experiences at the same time.

The family-run Hotel Alpina in Rauris promises the best starting point for a vacation in the idyllic Rauris Valley with its ideal location, the charm and comfort of a modern 4-star hotel. The hotel opened its summer season in May with genuine Alpine charm and a freshly renovated 6,000 m² green area. The ****Hotel Alpina is located in the center of Rauris. In plain language, this means that the mountains are not far away. More precisely, the charming village is surrounded by imposing heights and untouched nature. Silence is the first step to a relaxing summer vacation. As a couple, you enjoy the togetherness. Families with younger guests need a little more “action”. And you can also get this in the beautiful Valley of Springs: “When panning for gold, it’s not just the little stones that shine, but always the children’s eyes,” says Thomas Prommegger, manager of the Alpina Haus. The Rauris feeling of nature doesn’t stop after a day in the fresh air, even in the hotel. The owners put a lot of heart into their house, renovating, refining and surprising their long-standing guests time and again with this incomparable attention to detail. With themed rooms such as the Urquell, Gold or Urwald rooms, as well as the exclusive wellness suite with its own infrared cabin and views of the breathtaking panorama, the Prommegger family brings the diversity of the Rauris Valley into your own four walls. But relaxation is not neglected either. The Prommegger family takes care of this with a very personal touch. The young couple took over and renovated the hotel in 2010, large glass elements, light wood and a new entrance area provide a fresh and modern touch. What remains is the cozy Zirbenstube, where dinner is served and the breakfast buffet can be “experienced” with an unobstructed view of the mountains. The excellent cuisine places particular emphasis on regional ingredients, especially when it comes to meat and game dishes.

Tip: The hotel is now also a partner of the National Park Summer Card. It allows guests of its partner companies to visit more than 60 attractions free of charge and to use leisure facilities, sports facilities and numerous mountain railroads free of charge.
