Cross-country skiing in Rauris
Enjoyment of cross-country trails in nature
Cross-country skiing in the Rauris Valley is a real treat. The long valley in the Austrian Hohe Tauern National Park offers 30 kilometers of well-groomed and well-groomed trails. They generally run at altitudes between 950 and 1,200 meters and touch many of the scenic highlights of the romantic Rauris Valley.
The detour to the rear of the Hüttwinkl Valley is particularly popular. Here you can go to the
Sunny trail, doing your laps in the most beautiful alpine pasture area. All routes score through
extensive freedom from fog. Cross-country skiing equipment can be obtained from local sports shops
and ski schools can be rented.
In winter the free valley bus brings cross-country skiers, but also snowshoe and
Winter hikers or tobogganists to the various starting points.
